Who are we?

UtiliSolutions is an small IT development and Consulting Company that was established in 2002 by Mal Campbell and Phil Hayes.

Over 40 years experience in the energy and IT sectors allows us to provide strategic, tactical and operational advice to participants in the Australian National Electricity Market based on extensive experience in the areas of contract pricing, retail pricing mechanisms, hedging strategies, risk management strategy, risk policy and compliance, regulation issues, energy marketing and business development. Mal Campbell regularly lectures on the subject of electricity derivatives for the Australian Financial Markets Association.

What we are about ....

In dealing with UtiliSolutions, you deal with the people who:

• design and build the systems underpinning our solutions
• understand the businesses that they aim to assist
• have an intimate knowledge of the processes and philosophies underlying their products.

We believe our clients should understand what they are buying so we insist that they "try before they buy".

What we do ....

UtiliSolutions provides IT system reviews, strategy development and IT Solutions delivery (including product development, integration and implementation) to participants in the Australian NEM. We specialise in the solutions for:

• Electricity and gas trading (Wholesale and Retail)
• Environmental compliance
• Energy Risk Management
• Utility and Customer Billing

Clients to date have included Australian electricity market participants including retailers, generators and network service providers.

What We're Not About ...

We do not come from a traditional IT sales background and our goal is to generate commercial returns from our products and services - not from large implementation costs, variations or large ongoing maintenance and licence costs associated with software installations.

We still want to support our products on an ongoing basis but we put a lot of the enhancement power in your hands with our product development tools.
